Jargon

In the legal field, it’s often very important to be able to talk the talk. So consider liberally sprinkling your written and verbal communications with industry lingo. Here’s a good example that can be used in almost any situation where you don’t want to do something: “I don’t want to get out over my skis here, but to open the kimono a little bit and take a 30,000 foot view, let’s keep this arrow in our quiver and stop trying to boil the ocean.”
