There are periods when you will be completely disillusioned with your career choice and overwhelmed with its inherent day-to-day demands. During these times, you may find that a simple email request from a colleague or client will set you off into a violent rage. Ask around and you will find that there are associates in your firm who have quit suddenly or physically overturned their offices in an email-induced state of uncontrollable anger. Find that you are in this state now? There are a couple things to try to help you through it. First, check your student loan balance. This will help to calm you as you will be reminded that you have no other life or career options for the foreseeable future. Next, realize that these states of rage are temporary – you will only experience them every couple of weeks.
